Edward Lofts

I’m a physicist with an interest in technology, and the work I do allows me to get stuck into that. My research history has been on topics such as optics and solid state physics, for the development of technologies used in TV and mobile phone displays, as well as solar cells and computer chips. I’ve worked in industry and in academia, and at the moment am doing a PhD at Imperial College London. I love talking to people about science, so take any opportunity I can to do that.
