Time travel is a staple of science fiction stories, but is it actually possible? It turns out nature does allow a way of bending time, an exciting possibility suggested by Albert Einstein when he discovered special relativity over one hundred years ago. Colin Stuart imagines where (or, when) this fascinating phenomenon, time dilation, may one day take us.

Just to clear up that short little paragraph that is mildly misleading, Space time is one thing and it can be altered One way or the other. That means the faster your moving or the more gravity you experience the slower time passes for you but, experiencing less gravity or speed will increase your passage of time. Unfortunately there’s not enough speed or gravity on earth to ever make a noticeable difference, but will orbring a black hole close enough would definitely alter The rate at which you perceive time. Unfortunately Time travel into the past is nearly or completely impossible. Just think about it we’ve never seen someone from the future.
